Digging a lane

This isn't strictly a gardening query, but I feel someone out there will have a good suggestion!
I live down a cinder lane which soon gets lots of of deep depressions, no matter how much scalpings etc you put in the holes. There's plenty of material on it, but set too hard for me to pickaxe up and spread evenly, so I thought of hiring a small, perhaps electric, pneumatic drill to break it up. Has anyone tried one of these, if so what would you recommend?
Thanks, JohnN

Paying somone with the right tools to do the job.

That's what I'd recommend. "Domestic" tools won't be up to the job and how long is this lane? You'll probably have to hire a generator as well as the electric tool. :?

Afternoon JohnN, I think you will need a Kango our something of the same size. These can be hired with a pointed tool for concrete, or a wider chisel blade for tarmac and consolidated material. Anything smaller and you will be there for ever.

If you pop along to your hire shop, they will show you whats, what....

My frontage is only about 20 yds long and 3 yds wide. I thought an electric one would run off a 230v 13a cable from the house, about 15yds away.
