..... kick me - HARD! Is what I said to one of my friends last week.
In what was obviously a moment of madness way back in February/March, I suggested to our Head that it would be a good idea to open the school garden as part of the village 'Open Gardens' in July. Back then, July seemed a long way off
The last 2 weeks have a been a veritable frenzy of activity as I planted out, pinched off, potted up and weeded, weeded and then weeded some more, all in an effort to make sure that the garden looked presentable.
This weekend was 'D' day. The last few nights have been pretty sleepless as I've worried and wondered about what other gardeners would make of mine and the childrens efforts.
Today, we received so much positive feedback about the school and the grounds that all the worry and stress and uncertainty with the weather has been worth it.
Well done kids

P.S. Got a whole load of new ideas as well
