There's a squirrel round here that's being fed by neighbours, which keeps burying peanuts, in their shells, in our borders and pots. What I want to know is, if it thinks this is a sensible time to be burying food, what does it know about the weather for the rest of the summer that we don't?

Nothing, he just can't eat the over-supply.
