Noticed that the milk from a well known freezer store came in 2-272 litres, 4 pints. Local store, 2 litres, 3-52 pints, and there's me thinking milk bottles come in standard sizes. :? :?

Hi Shallot Man,
The milk in this area is in 2 pint (1.14L) containers and can be Pasteurerised homogenised or unhormogenised Whole Milk, Semi-skimmed Milk or Fully Skimmed Milk.
The milk that I prefer is unhomogenised because of the wonderful taste which comes from Ayrshire Cows and not from the Holstien Cow which most dairies supply only.
JB.
