I remember a technical drawing class in school (1967 ish) where after what seemed like hours of following instructions from the tutor, This Fibenachi thingy appeared before my eyes ! I looked at technical drawing with a lot more interest from then on.

It's amazing how many times Fibonacci turns up in nature
