ive just been potting on some peppers and cucumbers from the yogurt pots they were sown in to 3 inch pots, when i discovered that in this batch i'd used fresh yogurt pots and forgot to punch drainage holes in the bottom before planting never mind the plants dont seem to have noticed.

It's because you didn't tell them!
Honestly, plants can be so stoooopid!

Did the same last year with tomatoes. It worked out quite well in the end. Got a good crop and didn't have to water so often cos the roots were happy. Only watered once a week.

Might do it again this year as I'm all for an easy life
