I plan this year to again use my plastic box containers for carrots and radish, but as placing them high up didn't seem to avoid the dreaded crf later season, I will use enviromesh over the tops of the boxes. Bearing in mind that the contents will need to be accessed for "pulling", say, twice a week, what is the best way to fasten the mesh over the boxes? They've got solid sides and a rim about 10mm thick. Clothes pegs come to mind, but is there a special clip available? And should I take the mesh down to the bench top (14") or will a couple of inches down from the rim suffice?
Many thanks for any tips.

John, I use heavy electric clips for a very similar purpose. Some of them have survived two or three years outside and are still fine. They are very strong spring clips (usually yellow and black) and I buy them from a very good hardware store. Because the actual holding surface is quite soft plastic, they do not damage the environmesh.
