Too cold to go in the greenhouse.....soil in the garden still frozen.....had to go to the garden centre to cheer myself up and bought a bargain bag of mixed dahlias...at least I can look at the pictures for a day or two before attempting to plant them up in pots in the conservatory.
Cat has just eaten a bit of geranium leaf and been sick!.
That's about as exciting as my day has been so far.
It's 1 degree.....and falling.

At Royal Holloway college of London University, where son is being interviewed about studying for a physics degree from September. Too cold to wander round & admire the founders building.

Hope your son gets into Royal Holloway, Peter! We have both been out of the University world for more than 20 years now, so can't vouch for RH's academic quality now, but my OH says the buildings are amazing.

Lovely poem Beryl, I suppose that's what I've been doing going through my seed boxes and catalogues, but not quite so poetically.
