A beautiful sunny morning here today, the calm broken only by the clatter and hum of my neighbours' mowers! I suppose I'll have to do the same, mine has grown at least half-an-inch in the past 10 days - never known having to mow before late March or April. It's a job I really hate, not so much the cutting but emptying the bag every four stripes. :(

Know just how you feel....our front south facing lawn looks very raggedy at the moment. Very tempted to give it a mow - but frost is forecast for the weekend...so may leave it for now. It looks quite umkempt and untidy ..but was fine up to a month ago and then everything went mad.

Can't blame just me for any cold and snow that arrives shortly now then :)

I own up to having a little mow on Saturday.
