Melons

Hi people, I started growing melons last year in a greenhouse with limited success. I tried "Sweetheart". Can anyone recommend a better variety to try and more importantly, tips on pollinating them in a greenhouse??

Last year I tried grafted melons outside and got great results. I did paint brush pollinate them just to make sure and they weren't over pampered just good well fed soil and liquid feed with their watering. I got both cantelope and watermelon of an excellent shop size so worth it I think.
This year went back to the greenhouse with self sown ones. Paint brush pollinated again and drippa was set up with liquid feed but was pretty 'pants'. I know the weather is a factor but definately asking for grafted plants again for my birthday next year.
