I grew this chilli as something new this year. It is a Sweet Ají type pepper/chilli (Capsicum baccatum).

Dedo de Moça also comes in a hot strain, but this one from Real Seeds is sweet and apple-tasting and very crunchy when picked fresh and eaten sliced raw. Unfortunately it is very slow - sown 1 March, cropping late November (pictures taken yesterday 25/11/2011). I might try to overwinter a plant.

You are lucky yours are sweet tasting. The plants I grew from Real Seeds were both blisteringly hot and some sweet on the same plant, so it was like Russian roulette when you cooked them. Probably two out of five were hot ones. They grew well and were very productive and good for cooking if you were careful.
