Every time I open the "will ye no come back again" thread, it flashes on and off the screen repeatedly... Just that thread..

mouse; we trade in West Cork, and every cent we raise goes to babies in India and to the homeless.

Our range is, our own design hand knitting, for babies, adults, children and teapots.. gourmet preserves, hand made rosaries etc. This year we have also sold plants, cut flowers and some vegetables and fruit. Planning more cut flowers next year.

At present it is the knitting that is selling, so hands are busy indeed.

Laws re trading will be very different in the UK; we take in also car boot sales sometimes.

Wow, that must keep you really busy! It's nice to know that there are people like you who are prepared to put in so much hard work (even if you enjoy it, as I guess you do!!!) to help others.

Dear Marigold, i can't help with the flashing, but very well done with the fundraising, it's a shame there are not more kind people about like yourself. It's one thing giving donations, but it is a whole new level to actually get out there and raise money.

For the kind words. blessings and thanks. Craft Fair at Kilbrittain last Sunday and I think every wee girl in the village went home wearing one of our knitted /crocheted hairbands. So lovely to see that!

Yes I enjoy it; better than sitting watching TV or playing bingo.... But I wish there was not the terrible need, so many babies dying.

Money is what is desperately needed; the shoe box appeals are an utter waste as they get robbed at the borders. As do other goods; also by sending money it helps the small family producers in that country to earn a living with some dignity.

Still booking Christmas markets etc; anything up to 7 ahead so knitting away while the gales rage out there. We get oddments of yarn given; a huge box arrived today from Springwools in Dublin.

Onwards now! Time to rest at Christmas as the markets are dead in January.
