The lovely Grockie and I were wondering where people got their gift bags from when they have made bikkies etc for people. Looking in Lakeland but nothing tickles our fancy there. Have trawled through Amazon and ebay to no avail. Anybody know of anywhere that is good and reasonable in price?

Thanks everyone.

You could reuse pickle jars washed clean, or cheap kilner jars and make a seasonal hat for them with fabric or paper ?

Also our local pound shop had cheap bags for a pound in different sizes.

Clintons Cards, but only ever bought them singly.
Any food contents in a Sainsburys freezer bag inside.

No, these are special, decorative food gift containers specifically designed for the purpose. They have some in Lakeland but, frankly, they're crap. Not spending out on them.

I wonder if everybody reads the small print.

I agree those printed poly bags don't look much.
My wife gives lots of presents of jams and chutneys but usually collects small cardboard boxes and just covers them in nice wrapping paper, often decorated foil, and gives them as an open box.
Did you find these?

Don't know anything about any of them - I just searched for "biscuit bags".

Try Ebay.. we get wee bags in from Fire Mountain, see website, for our rosaries etc and they have a great selection.

Someone else gets them cheaply from ebay. For their hand made soaps etc.

These are semi-transparent draw string material.

Most of the craft and bead shops online have something similar. I think sayila in Holland also, under textiles.
( am on restricted service today so cannot get big sites up..)

But why not simply make your own? They are very easy.
