Sorry Alan, was there something specific about Manuka on the link you provided? When I tried it, it asked me to login & didn't show any specific messages, so I guess you already have an account there.

It's doing the same to me now

Essentially what the comments were saying was that the trees do not grow well as far north as the UK, and, even if you do get them to flower, the bees will not give you manuka honey. The only reason that Manuka honey is produced so easily in New Zealand is that the trees are about the only source of nectar for the bees.
