A whole week of warmth & sunshine - yipee! Should perk up the lottie and increase the harvest just ever so slightly, & lucky me even has a day off this week Will even get my winter woolies washed & dried ready. (Cat in wardrobe again!)

The only downturn in this it really makes it feel extra cold when temps drop to normal again - & any mention of early snow is really going to take the shine off it.

That's nice for you, but not round here it hasn't been. Overcast all week, rain most days, chilly. I used to live in the West Country. I found it to be wetter, but at least when it was cloudy it rained, and if it was not raining it was sunny. If that makes any sense.

My Great Niece, who is very lucky to live just across the way from me, is down at Osmington Bay for a week, hope the weather lasts for her.

Lovely here too, wall to wall sunshine, and temperatures on the up at the beginning of the week which should ripen the last of the grapes to a lush dark colour,new neighbours at last, sociable and seem very nice.

Since Sunday the weather gods have decided we too deserve the Haf bach Mihangel (little Michaelmas summer).

So after a sunny day yesterday, and another promised for today it's sunny and hot for tomorrow, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Hope they are right - took the shed roof off yesterday and hoping to put it back waterproof today.

Just got back from a holiday last week in north Wales - so we were a week too early!

Lovely here yesterday and brilliant forecast for this week unless they change it!

On a beautiful Indian Summer day, two English tourists were driving through Wales.
