Not particularly relevant to us in the UK, or Europe as this is in America.
Even more to the point ot is merely permission to bring the case at State (i.e. Missouri) level and ir is not yet won. Even then how many more higher layers do the Americans have in their legal system?
Personally I'd love stricter laws around crop spraying, plus better technology like Tony on here does.
If I walked up to Farmer Giles in the high street and sprayed fungicide or pesticide on his face I'd (quite rightly) be arrested and charged, probably with administering a toxic substance with intent to cause harm.
But if he sprayed the field next to my garden......
Modern sealed cab, air-conditioned farm vehicles insulate the operative, they don't feel the 5mph breeze.

Hi Peter, I agree there needs to be more control when spraying, I was driving past a hop farm once not realising they were spraying and it came right through my open car window. Fortunately there is a strip of trees between our garden and the field behind us. He doesn't seem to spray much either. I have a vague feeling I read somewhere there might be new laws and requirements now.

Wow Gallotments, how awful for the farmers affected too. What these pesticide companies forget is that all life shares some common genes, which means all can be affected at some level. This can work for or against us, so we should progress and research carefully
