Hey, has anyone brought any winter (Christmas Day) spuds? If so, where did you get them from, and am I too late to have them for my Christmas day dinner?

I recently bought 4 tubers of Duke of York from our local pet shop to try late potatoes. They had several varieties available all from cold store and were giving out instructions with them. The first 2 are already showing in the bag.
Other garden centre type places may have them as well.
Alternatively he Kitchen Garden online shop currently has Carlingford tubers .
Click on the FREE offers picture when you come into the forum to get there.
Click on Categories Veg offers on the top left of the screen and scroll down the list to find them.
I don't know this variety so can't personally comment on how good they are.
edit to add:
KG had an article on second crop potatoes in the June 2011 edition.
