Dear OH, provided it is the 10,000,000 candlepower torch you picked up at the DIY-shed sale in July and you leave it on and pointed up the stairs it will be very bright at the top of the tower.

Coming down may be a bit of a problem, unless you stay up there until the battery runs out, or you take a set of welders goggles up with you.

Oh and Luton Airport might want a word if you open the door for some fresh air while you're up there and redirect RyanAir into Milton Bryan Allotments International Landing Plot.

Just had a gorgeous day out in beautiful Derbyshire. We have come up from West Sussex for a couple of nights in a nice Mariott, while we visit Alton Towers, and I am Knackered! But the views and the colours of the trees - it is truly beautiful. This makes hubby very pleased as he was born and raised just down the road from Derby before pitching up in West Sussex where I ensnared him! The people have all been so welcoming and friendly too, so different to our excursion to Devon in September. :) What is interesting to me was how much that experience affected the children - they were quite worried what reception they would get from people here and keep commenting on how nice they are!

Just had two giant bacon and fried egg sandwiches, you wouldn't think a grown bloke could get in such a mess eating them. :)
