Don't you believe it! Still get "John Smith" calling with sub-continent accent and minimal brain - not racist, must be minimal brain when they don't understand No!

After a silly day at work, which I was pleased to see the back of,I popped into the allotment to drop off some pallets for one of the lads.
Whilst there I picked Cobra beans,All Gold raspberries and Elderberries to go with some "scrumped" plums

to make a jelly.Just these simple acts lifted and lightened my mood and set me up for the rest of the evening.
Thank goodness for my safety valve and all power to it------my Allotment.

A little thing really got to me earlier!
I was walking round to the allotments earlier when i met a Mum and her three year old daughter. As they turned the corner the little girl yelled out, "WOW" rather loudly. when i turned to see what she was wowing at, i saw her looking up at a small Crab Apple tree. It is laden with brightly coloured apples this year, but i have just taken them for granted.
But it gave me real encouragement for the future, to know that youngsters still notice things i take for granted.
This thought will last with me for many years to come.

I would just like to share that it's my Grandsons first birthday tomorrow,
I'm way too young for all this, but he is great fun and love him to bits.

A very happy Birthday to Donediggings Grandson.
If he grows up anything like his Grandma, he would be quite a pleasant person to know.
