Well was that the last cut of my grass for this year today?
Must admit the leaf and grass mixture looks good in the compost bins.

Dear Geoff, grass and leaves are a perfect mix, so much better than water and electric.

Funny, my washing machine also died last week. My new one has already been delivered and has a free 5 year guarantee, so should be £600 well spent! Next 7 weeks' pension should just about cover it - still I've plenty of veg and eggs so shouldn't starve!

Dear Richard, the joys of being self employed.

not sure joy is the right word, the actual accounts arnt a problem, but we acumulate a box of "uninteresting" or "file that when ive got time " post which really needs dealing with more than once a year....

will have a nice fire later though, whatever happened to the paperless office we were supposed to be getting.

Evening richard p,
It seems that there has to be a paper trail for everything these days-and not the"Hare and Hounds"type

Whilst i was painting skirting boards today, i have ended up with carpet burns on each elbow.
Now i haven't had any of these for years.
Has anyone else had any lately.

OJ, for heavens sake do not say that you "broke the back" of the painting.
