I haven't done anything yet. I have been horribly ill with the flu, utterly knackered, and I still can't do anything for even 5 mins without having to sit and take a breather. Still, if I am going to have flu I might as well have it when everything is covered with snow and you can't do anything anyway. I bet by June the garden won't look as if I didn't do anything in February - there's plenty of time, really, isn't there...
Brian had the flu jab in September, and hasn't come down with it. So it looks as if it works.

I love seed sowing and potting on. A time full of anticipation but i've learned to my cost that, if sown too soon, my stuff just rots off and I get all sad then
One of the advantages of raised beds, Lizzie. I'm on clay too but the beds get a head start on the year as they warm up and dry out. I've also got some cloches to cover things up if the weather's really bad. Early peas are an item it's impossible to do without in this household.
