I don't no if this may help my case but, i have just been over the allotment and there is the first signs of blight on my Kestrel potatoes.

But i have just got a plaster ready, just incase.

A bandage will be of no use at all - may need a needle and thread! Anyway I live a fair distance away so reckon someone else will be there before me!!

Glorious day here in Cardiff.Cloud at first but was soon burned away by the sun.So,morning spent at the allotment digging,picking and pottering about.
Washing out jars this afternoon in readiness for when my wife makes Pear,Apple and Ginger Conserve,but a bit brassed off at the nuisance phone calls,people wanting us to collect for their charities,selling windows,wanting our bank details so that they can ship from America the car we have won!
Two chances of that;none and bugger all was the reply.
Found a site now which filters all calls and have registered,all for free,so within the next 28 days we should be nuisance call free. :) :)
