I've been rather disturbed (but still able to eat and sleep to date, thankfully) with OUR man treading all over his raised beds, and 'chucking stuff' around the kitchen garden that isn't going into the cooking pot.
Horticultural Why's & Wherefores, and Horticultural Hygiene is what he needs teaching now, before he gets into bad habits.
I'm not even going to 'touch' on Wednesday's episode as he harvested the cucumbers, but I did happen to say to Trousers "No, that's done it now.... Not only will Tigger be drooling, but she'll be in a permanent state of shock and have to spend the rest of her days in a darkened room...."
Did you SEE IT ?!

Peter - that was a rather flowery way of saying 'tell me' ? !

Yes, I like to exercise old words, they don't get out very often and are grateful for the chance.

I've been let out of the darkened room again - but only to go to work.
Wellie - Mr M needs us more than he knows.

Wellie, come on girl, spill the beans, just what was Mr Martin doing to get Tigger so excited?
Should I tell my old friend or would it be too embarressing.

Tigger,
With all due respect, age comes before beauty, and I bow to both of those in your direction, that you find the 'appropriate words' to satisfy Peter's curiosity.
If you've got in from work and have gone straight back into the darkened room again, just say the word, I'll tell him, and he can decide whether or not to tell his friend.
Sorted....
Peter, why don't you just WATCH it (the programme) !

Well - I'm certainly older and definitely not more beautififul.............
Where should I start - he's got deep beds that he walks upon - big no no as they work on the princinple of no walk on and no dig. Manure year on year, turnover and don't dig or compact.
He tears off the waste from products (such as onions, tomatoes and beetroot) and discards them amongst the veg/fruit beds rather than deposit them in the veg compost bin.
He needs our help. If only he should know that.
If you watched his last Digs Deep programme, you may have spotted his photo shoot (for what I assume to be the GYO article). I think KG should take advantage of this opportunity and get an article of his KG one year on. If you read his UK TV Food/BBC Kitchen/JM Internet followings the interest in others in gardening is apparent.
