Young carrot leaves are good in salads as well - taste mildly carroty

You've encouraged me yet-again, just sown 3 rows of carrot, a row of red spring onion, a row of salad leaves, three rows of broad bean plant-lings, my sweet peas have shown their heads and I planted 100 more red onion sets to compliment the white onion I put in last September.

Dont forget the 100 sea buckthorn I planted.

What a good boy, Eh ?

Have never tried young carrot leaves in salads, but do pop the odd young blackcurrant leaf into a mixed green leaf salad occasionally in spring to add a slightly different flavour. Very young small sorrell leaves are good too for a lemony flavour.
