Dear Chantal, Codgers are about 7 feet tall, and they have had some severe pruning in the past.
But as long as they are multi stemmed, i think you can class them as a bush and not a tree.

Hmm, it is multi-stemmed, but I've already been asked what sort of tree it is

I'd better get pruning after it's fruited.
Thanks

Good morning,
Slight frost here as well. My plot neighbour planted his runner beans out at the end of march
I had a look yesterday and the leaves seem to a range of colours, apart from green.

-2C in the polytunnel last night. Now the weather has switched as forecast - a warming breeze from the south. Let's hope that's the end of the frosts for a while. Tomatoes are getting crowded in the propagators and ready to come out. Tomorrow and Saturday I'll need the space for cucumbers etc which are waiting to be sown.

Good evening OH,
my day has been busy, thank you for asking, just about to go and water the greenhouse and close it down for the night. Still cold at night here, minus 1 last night, I haven't planted my beans out either yet.

Dear Donedigging, i think tonight is meant to be the last of the cold nights for a while, so we will soon be able to have a combined planting.

Too cold!
Green corrugated roof of my shed was white at 06:15 this morning.

Gloriously sunny out the office window here in North London now.

Seeds ready, labels cleaned, pots, trays and modules filled and watered - now what shall I do today?

Glad to see somebody else waters pots and trays before sowing, think it's me that's got it wrong sometimes when I watch them on TV.

Nip up and down Mt Snowdon before lunch!
