I don't know anything about sweetpeas, OH. Do you mean they bush out rather than growing tall ? If so, the idea has also occurred to me. Shall we have a trial ?

Evening WestHamRon, when you pinch out Sweetpea plants they put up a much stronger and vigorous leading shoot.
Now i was wondering if the same thing would happen to eating peas or if they would just branch and lose their vigour.
I have got sixty pots on the go, so i might try twenty and see.
And thankyou for replying, i was starting to feel quite abandoned.

My pleasure to reply,OH. Thanks for the information about sweetpeas. I definitely won't be doing that if it means they grow even higher.
I was hoping that one could increase the yield of peas by making them branch out.

Again less kicking made for a better game, though the boot got used more as the end drew nearer.

Hi Peter,
What makes me so cross is the commentators who were so convinced that Pays de Galles were going to romp home.
Even Jonathan Davies, who is normally so patriotic, was for once, quite rightly, full of criticism for his own side.
Is it me or are Wales very fond of the short forward pass?
However certainly the best team won on the day and considering that there were two clear instances where a Welsh player, as you so aptly say, should have been 10 minute spectators. However to me an enjoyable game.
A' tout jamais "La France!"
Garder le sourire!
JB.

I've got a feeling the England, Ireland game, is going to turn into one of those old rough and tough games. So lets hope we don't see to many yellow or even red cards.
I did enjoy last nights game and thought the ref did a fair job considering the speed of the game.
