I had an exciting time fitting a new toilet seat  Then I visited my allotment to cut back my autumn fruiting raspberrys - it p***ed it down and i got wet and fed up. Went to see Chantal which was much more fun. Had a cuddle with my favourite chicken, Rocky.Drank lots of tea. Definately the best bit of the day.
Came home and started to prepare dinner. I`ve got an ironing pile the size of a small planet to tackle tonight.Yipee ......

I finally went for some shopping and managed to blow my woofers cos I had my music on too loud again, did some ironing, cooked dinner and got the broom handle out from where it was

I did get a fantastic t-shirt at Asda though with Animal from the Muppets on the front. I might go back tomorrow for the Miss Piggy one

After our sporting commitments, I went to the start-up meeting for a local branch of Hearing Dogs.

Had to drag the daughter out after prising her away from the dogs present.

After preparing and cooking it we have just finished roast pork with crackling, roast spuds, mashed spuds, mashed swede, cabbage, squash and gravy, followed by gently defrosted large bag of frozen strawberries.
Oh and two pints of "Bitter & Twisted" :D

I spent the morning gardening outside and setting seeds in the tunnel, then had a couple of hours reading - very decadent!

Since then had a bit of a spurt on food prep - made a beef and kidney pie, meatballs in (home grown) tomato sauce, mutton stew with lots of veg and pulses and a fish concoction, plus three soups - carrot and sweet potato, green veg and coconut cream, beetroot and beef bortsch.

Cooked roast turkey ( a bargain at £4) with all the roast veg and gravy for dinner. Lyndon made Mincemeat Armandine for pud (which we have yet to eat) along with a cake and the bread for the week.

Now - what did I say about losing weight this month?????.......

Mmmm know what you mean... I'm supposed to be eating 'healthily' with a view to getting in a wedding dress by June but the comfort food is winning.

I made steak & kidney pudding couple of weeks ago, now I've been pressed into making two more this weekend but it will be feeding the lovely young men coming to take the rest of our trees down. Sadly the winds didn't blow them away but we did have a couple of fence panels go.

Hope everybody fared OK during the recent fierce weather!! :)
