That will probably give the chickens soggy bottoms! Guess that will take a while to dry out.
Probably a good drying day for outside washing if you could guarantee your items would not get ripped off and blown away.

That's part of the problem the chicken run very rarely dries out but the straw keeps the chickens out of most of the mud

A pallet or two would create a dry patch.

I've got part of it covered in ply or duck boards ,part of it has a visqueen cover to give them protection from rain this is as well as an 8 x 6 shed which has four laying box's in but chickens like scratching holes so part of it is just heavy clay with old tree roots mixed in

38mm rain so far today and it's still chucking down ..... Well, after such a dry February and January, it will be good for the trees to have a supply of moisture when the leaves appear.

Much less wind and rain here than was forecast. Just checked the propagators: one tomato through yesterday, eighteen this afternoon. Joy increased by the knowledge that tomorrow onwards will be be fine and warm for quite some time. I think I can use the word Spring again.

Wish I could say the same, 88kph (54.68mph) wind and just short of 42mm (1.65") rain and still quite a bit of the day left.
