The chassis sat for the camera on a lovely book from the Hornby Companion Series written by Michael Foster, "Hornby Dublo Trains".

Evening Clive, i do love some of the engineering of these early models, not just trains, but any transportation vehicle. so thank you.

In one sense they are quite crude...but 3 rail trains will be sparking their way around their tinplate track long after their modern counterparts have plastic fatigued away...

I just love to see the rough clods of soil when they have frost on them, it's always a sign of, good things to be.....a friable crumb in the Spring..
