I loved your report, Clive, of all your doings, especially mention of the Alford Windmill. It's a lovely place, isn't it? We were once on the top floor when the sails started turning - oh, the creeks and groans! and we have had some really tasty dainty lunches at the windmill cafe, too.

Mixture of sunshine and showers here, but stuff is growing.

Not quite so good here, just a few wispy bits of blue..... :)

I even resorted to cutting the allotment grass without the grass-box on, it was that long, and this was after only eight days from the previous cut.
So this is another first.

Quite bright here, although there are a few dark clouds up there, hope it will stay dry for today

What a lovely song.

It won't be on for long!

Thursday was lovely and bright.

Managed to get another 100 leeks planted out and cut all the grass around the plot.

Last night it rained all night, but seems to be clearing up now :)

Hi VPM,
I'm singing in the rain!
I'm singing in the rain!
And the rest of that song simply doesn't fit the occasion!

And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, and it's a hard
It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.
