First you scrub your potato clean, cut a cross on top just through the skin, if you like a crispy skin rub a little sea salt over the skin bake for about an hour till tender. Come on you guys give cook a break - it's easy peasy really, not rocket science. serve with butter, cheese, or any filling of your choice.
What are picasso like for flavour?

I feel like i've been told off.

I find they have a very good flavour, but i don't water them at all, and i know that has a lot to do with the flavour.

Just a little fun OH, I taught both my sons to cook, and actually they are both excellent cooks now, both still very masculine, six foot and six foot six tall, they tower over me, I'm only just over five ft tall. My daughter on the other hand is far more creative and artistic than practical, she once made bourbon buiscuits and sandwiched them with butter cream before cooking the buicuits.

I knew it was a bad idea for OH to start this thread. It poured with rain all day Saturday, Sunday evening, yesterday afternoon; it's raining again today and confidently forecast for the next five days.

I thought winter had arrived yesterday, grey and overcast with high winds and driving rain, thank goodness a little warmer and brighter today. The Wisley magic runner beans took a bit of a battering but I can't grumble, they kept me and the neighbours well supplied with tasty beans and loads to preserve. I staked the moonlight much better and there are loads to come on those. The peppers aubergines and courgettes are doing well so
ratatuille is next on the list. Some lovely big backyard tomatoes ( the last to ripen iin the greenhouse ) to go in the ratatuille

I had some runner beans blow over yesterday, but as i said to Codger, "that will save picking them."

I try not to let little things like that, upset me.
