We finally have some rain here - rather lighter that forecast - to kick off the Bank holiday weekend. We had hoped to keep it to ourselves, but we're sending across the border to England

Wet rain.......
Is that the type of wet rain we can get up this way..

Our "wet rain" is called as such due to it being so light that you keep working in it and thus eventually get soaked wet through....
Just "rain"...means work in greenhouse/potting shed and stay dry-ish.
Rain gauge has made it to 1mm......

in spite of todays weather summer is well established in somerset. yes i now know its a damselfly not a dragon fly... amazing what wildlife you can find on a short walk.
