I've just looked at Metcheck and they are forecasting heavy snow on Tuesdaythe 27th, here in Eastbourne !
Do you think they are "delivering wine to Whitby"?

Radio Peas sown, Parsnips too, last of the Swift Potatoes planted, Kestrel, Estima and Valor too....just 10 Valor to find a home for now.
...and those non chitting Swift..never did move forward...even the ones that we gave a good washing in the sink out of curiosity. Perhaps they would have grown if planted.?..but the consensus here was that something was not right with them....so binned...
A Bat was sighted a couple of evenings ago here....
Clive.

Evening Clive, i think that was the right thing to do with the Swift.
It would have been annoying to have a whole row fail.
I have just been over to shut Codgers Chickens up for the night, and on the tall Jostaberry bushes he has, there must have been over a hundred Bees of varying types. They were making a real noise.
Also there have been butterflies about most of the day, a real pleasure to see so many about.

I've noticed the same thing, but my question is, how big to Jostaberry bushes grow? Mine's turning into a small tree, and we're not allowed trees.
