Hi OH,
Now there's a thought but there have been 15 PM's sent since then and they have all reached their target! Who knows what has happened but I suppose the first message is whizzing around somewhere in cyberspace.
JB.

Monika wrote:Beautiful sunny day today (even saw a bumble bee working through the antirrhinum which are still flowering) and we used it to creosote the garden shed, dig over and manure next year's sweet pea bed and have a general tidy up. Quite jiggered tonight but the garden looks great.

Crikey when I first read it I thought poor bumble bee!

Your weather is slow getting to us - just a bit of drizzle so far and no wind.

No doubt it will change :(

I'm pleased that you have missed most of the rain Alan, we may have had a lot of rain here, but we didn't get the strong, gusty wind that they were predicting, thank goodness.

I'm just going to deliver Catherine some sun-cream. :)

Well, it's been raining heavily here and the wind is blowing (and not just from me and the dog)

Have no idea what state my lottie is in cos haven't been there for several weeks. I trapped some nerves in my back then i've had a cold and chest infection so been off my paws for a while.

Still, will be back there on Sunday to survey my plot and do a bit........and keep clearing out that sodding compost bin. What a job that's turned out to be.......sorry I started the job now

So, what's everyone else been up to then?

Dear Lizzie, i have been sitting here at the computer for days, waiting for you to make a posting.

How big is that compost heap of yours, it sounds a major job?
Now of course, if you lived a little closer..... :)

Hi Lizzie,
Sorry about your back, hope you are fully recovered.

Must admit to not visiting the plot much for the past couple of weeks. Weather hasn't tempted us out. Cut back the dahlias and covered them with straw and black polythene. Dug up beetroot and put them with the carrots and covered them with straw too. A bit of weeding, watered the greenhouse where garlic and picked some chrysanths and thats it really.

More sudoku, reading, planning next years seeds and working on my websites.
