Not a cloud in the sky here! Did my usual 2 mile walk to the shops this morning (still slippery and slidey underfoot) and the hills looked great under the snow.

The temperature in the unheated greenhouse rose to 20 degrees and the automatic window opener started up but I'll have to watch it tonight because it looks the sort of day which will be followed by very low night temperatures - chitting potatoes into the house, I think.

Dear garden_serf, it wasn't very crispy, it put down about 3 inches of snow in two hours. :)

No grooming i'm afraid, :( and i will check my wellingtons for straw later, i'm sure thats what you meant. :)

Just been and done the old peoples paths again as there was another 4 inches of snow on them, and they are on about a -5 tonight.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
