Unfortunately, the real me doesn't often look so elegant on my bike - I'm usually to be seen heading for my lotty in wellies and anorak, with some kind of old box full of plants tied on the panier rack, or on the way back covered in mud

I did try to find a more realistic clipart image, but not surprisingly there wasn't one. Let's be honest , how many people would want such a horrendous picture? Actually, I feel quite pleased with myself for finally managing to post an avatar
