44th wedding anniversary today.
Just discovered that suitable gifts would be groceries :!: :!:
How thrilling - "What did you buy me dearest?" "A bag of flour and a pound of sprouts."
Never mind - the same list also tells me that a 10 carat diamond is what I'll have to buy on our 100th anniversary. Time to start saving up

I'd love the sprouts Alan, as long as they were home grown

What can I expect for my first wedding anniversary?

Congratulations...and thanks for the warning about the presents

Shame on you - fancy even considering buying sprouts!
44 is nearly sapphire following ruby so it should perhaps be purplish - if you insist on veg it must be Aubergine.

Even more annoying is staggering out to the loo in the dark, only to find your darling husband has used the last of the loo roll and not put out another one.

What's more, why is that men either

a) Don't replace the roll at all or

b) Don't seem able to put the new one on the dispenser and leave it balanced on top or dumped on the floor.

Grumpy this morning, can you tell guys?

I've yet to meet a man that can replace a toilet roll without being asked.

Perhaps that's the answer, OH is not a twenty something bloke with a window box, OH is a WOMAN!
