Hello Fen not Fen,
I echo Old H' thoughts ...
...as whilst I take it very personally if my crops fail the reality of my work is such that although I do genuinely provide some for big house use along with some for HG and caretaker also any small excess if available to clear gluts is put out with the plant sales..there is a slight degree of for show bedding plant like aspect to some plantings as part of the whole item...a diverse country house garden...
I hope you can salvage something and can recover some business when conditions improve.
All the best,
Clive.
Enoughs, enough.

Hi Fen
Can I add my thoughts to those of OH and Clive. And I will hope for an early and long Indian summer for you.

Hi Fen
What have I got to complain about compared to your problems. Nothing, that's what.
Good luck and I hope things improve for yo soon.

Me too Fen. When my crops fail all it means is someone else gets a bit more of my money. It must be so stressful when it's your livelihood. I hope things improve for you soon.

Herby - you're right, no blight here yet. No potatoes and I grow the tomato Ferline which isn't showing any sign of it even in this weather.
Clive, I also have a Buckingham Tayberry and it grows very well. I'm sure yours will make up for its loses and you'll be cutting back unwanted canes in the autumn.

I'm sure things will pick up for you Fen. Sometimes we all get stuck in a moment of lady lucks making ...... and then she changes the rules again.
Keep your pecker up. Things will improve. I'm sure of it.
