Hi Bren
I currently work for a Nursery selling specimen plants to the trade and retail customers - the sort of big plants you see in all the garden makeover programmes.

The new place is a Nursery with a retail garden centre attached to it and does specimen stock plus all the normal garden centre stuff. It is currently changing it's corporate colours. It was black with yellow logos, but I think they are going chestnut brown now.

My current boss is actually a great person who I have really enjoyed working with, but the rest of the set-up is a nightmare :(

Funny you should ask OH. My current place is having an event this Friday & Saturday and I may well be drafted into serving wine and canapes. Can't wait

Dear Sue, don't wash your hands, no one will ask you again. :)
Are you nervous about the day you are going to do at the new place. :?:
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Good plan Herby 8) I'm not nervous about my trial day at the new place at all - it's miles away from Bedfordshire so no chance of you showing up to cause trouble

Congratulations Sue.

Working locally is a bonus. Before being a full time gardener/landscaper, I used to look after the specimens and Japanese maples at our local (huge) garden centre part time. We had a number of large box topiary items which, being so expensive, didn't sell too often, hence we had to trim them regularly. - One large teddy bear somehow maintained an erection for 3 years..... Shows how often the management inspected the stock. Our colour was royal blue(yuk) polo shirt and trousers with a stitched permanent centre crease - no wonder I left...
