If you ever do that again Jenny, smother it in Vasoline. I works brilliantly. :D

OH, how many times do I have to tell you that I don't for a moment think you are an "old man". It's all a big scam. I think you're younger and fitter than me...

Tigger, I trod on a pebble and seem to have hurt my foot. Seedling you are most welcome to help her.
Any chance you could pop round and check it, he said optomistically.
Best wishes, Peter.

PS The spade is in the shed and the allotment is out the back gate, turn left and go twenty yards........

Dream on boyo, the digging event had been planned for several weeks and the injured hoof was co-incidental. You'll have to try a lot harder than that!

By the way, I did just as much digging as them  and it was WONDERFUL. 8)

All you need Peter is a pair of flowery wellies and a short length fork.... No amount of rain or clay will stop us.

Chantal, Seedling and I are thinking about setting up in business - all we can dig for all we can eat and drink. Do you think it might be a goer?

Somehow I think OH has taken the above literally.

He thinks he is going to get three ladies, three pairs of flowery wellies, three short forks and absolutely nothing else.

Make a great calendar though.
