You know, there are some really terrible Sydney people who would say that you couldn't call living in Melbourne living in Australia
You would have heard the "friendly" rivalry between the cities. Though I think that has disappeared a lot now, with so much more shifting back and forth.

Yes, but then again..Have you seen the capital???....
Actually I am one of the few that like Canberra. I live more or less right in the middle between Sydney and Canberra and I much prefer going south to Canberra than north to Sydney.
Born and bred in Sydney and only out of it for 6 1/2 years I hate going back there. Unfortunately I still have ties to it with a mother and my children and grandchildren still caught there.

Saying that, I still have to add that Sydney Harbour will always have my heart. Just a shame that you have to go through the rest of Sydney to get there!!
One day I won't ever have to go there again!!!
