Oh Barney. This is one of those situations when mental health services can work closely with physical disabilities and (maybe) learning disabilities to make a real difference to families.
There is lots of evidence to show that acquired brain injury has lasting mental health effects and your health and social care services should be working with your son and yourselves to limit the damage.
