Actually OH he's worn out from repainting the windows, which I admit I supervised from a distance

I don't let him loose on the garden as he is a bit trigger happy with the Felcos  and apt to trample everything with his big boots and then I have to be cross

and I'm sure a shy, demure little OH such as yourself could never really misbehave  yeah right

I'm one of those quiet ones you have to watch OH  Don't get cross often but when I do

Anyway I'm off to watch Midsomer Murders as it's just about my intellectual level by this time on a Sunday. I'll leave you to your mischief making

Nighty night all.

I spent nearly two years watching a tripple expansion reciprocating engine on my first ship. I never want to watch one again!
Had a lovelly day Saturday. Watched Mary having some retail therapy, in the morning, and watched my local rugby team loose 57-17 in the afterenoon! Still trying to work out which was worse!
Love veg!

Dear Zena you must be a clever old stick, and if your not you will be by the time you have finished all the courses.
As for the sinks i planted up, they were more of an alpine selection. I also planted up a very large, shallow circular tub with simular plants.
The plants consisted of a collection of Saxifages a collection of Sempervivums, creeping thymes, Dianthus erinaceus, Dianthus subacaulis?, Thrift, Phlox subulata, and a lovely little Limonium minutum, there were a few others but i can't think what they were at the moment. I know all these are not strictly alpines but they look rather gay together.
I used one part loam, one part leaf mould and one part pea shingle for planting them in.
Then top dressed with pea shingle when i had planted up.
Don't forget to put Pete in the bottom first, sorry i meant old crocks.
And there you have it job done. :D

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.
