Dear Rarebredchick, that's a bit of a coincidence you mentioning a greyhound. I've seen a bloke walking about the village a couple of times over the last couple of weeks with a greyhound.
So i stopped him today, as i do, just to see what he was up to. he lives about eight miles away, and said he didn't realize what lovely walks we had here in Milton Bryan.
But what i was really getting round to saying was, when his Greyhound that is called Hannah looked up at me, she had just got that look in her eyes that i think all whippets and greyhounds seem to have, they do pull at your heartstrings.

Maybe the time is getting closer fo me to get another one soon.

Thanks Rarebredchick.

I am sorry I didn't see this post earlier, due to lack of time to look through the various forums. I am so very sorry to hear about your beauitful doggy - as a fellow dog owner I can't begin to imagine how awful you must have felt having to make the decision - it was the right one but that doesn't make it any easier does it. I am so very sorry and I hope things get easier as time goes on and you are able to remember all the good things about your dear doggy.

Best wishes

T.T

Hello again, I have just realised this post is a year old - I am so sorry, my words were meant with sincerity.

I haven't quite got the hang of this forum business.

Sorry !

Dear T.T, thanks for your replies, they are kind words in both your replies, and gratefully received.

I still haven't got the hang of this forum yet either. :)

Hi there - thanks for being so understanding - felt a bit of an idiot when I realised my error :(
