Hells bells, I hope you didn't explode the thing! My friend is a great fan of pressure cookers, and managed to blow hers apart; and half her kitchen!!

No, I could smell something burning so went out to see what it was and it suddenly struck me!!!! No water!!!!
How could I have been so stupid. I've used the thing for 7 years and i've never done that. Still, it was my birthday yesterday so I'm blaming it on the early onset of senility!!!!
Hope your friend was ok and not hurt cos those things can really blow!!!

Oh dear, at least she wasn't hurt. You can fix a ceiling better than a person!!!

My dear Lizzie, sorry to have missed your birthday, happy returns for monday any way. It saved me buying you exspensive presents, maybe next year.
I can imagine you lot camping, something bound to go wrong.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Thanks for the vote of confidence OH, much appreciated
I am a bit concerned about it but what the hell. It's an adventure so let's treat it as such. It's a new experience for us all so we'll all learn something.
As for missing my birthday, that's fine. Just hearing from you makes up for the lack of a present
