Primrose I can't get my head around air pots but understand they work well & used commercially as well a for showing. I use square pots for the window sills but tend to use round in the greenhouse. Nothing scientific, all about size & space needed to give the plants the safety needed to not drop off! Once they get in the ground they will find a way to get what they need & untangle themselves but I do tease apart roots that are going around an either square or round root ball to help them.
