I was hoping to get on with some winter digging this weekend, but after the amount of rain we have had this week, i'm looking for another job to do!
Now what shall i do...

I'm painting the downstairs loo OH, can't be doing with sitting around! We've got thunder and rain at the moment so I think the allotment is out for today!

Dear MW, hope the painting has gone well, Loo's seem to take as long to paint as a large room, it's all the cutting that has to be done.
I ended up digging down to a water-main, to try and find a leak for someone.

And you thought you weren't going to get wet today OH! Half the loo room is painted and the ceiling, I was rudely interupted by a big pile of ironing that kept looking at me and made me feel guilty!

We had heavy rain again here today. The plot looked a bit muddy yesterday, so I dread to think what it looks like today.
Went to Folkestone in the rain this morning and tackled a walk that I haven't been able to do since last May. It finishes with a long uphill stretch which I managed with no problems at all.
It's amazing what a bit of blood flowing through the arteries can do

Evening PJ, i'm sure i can speak for everyone on here when i say, i'm so pleased to read that you getting out and about, doing some of the things in life that you love the most.
Just think how good that allotment will look next year.
Not trying to spoil things, of course, but i'm thinking of taking my holidays in Kent next year...

Hi MW,
The thought of OH spending his holidays in Kent next year has put an extra spring in my step

Hi OH,
If it doesn't stop raining soon, the plot will float away. At least I can potter in the polytunnel

I think it will be Broadstairs next year, PJ, but as to when, well that is top secret.
Hasn't really stopped raining here all day, been quite miserable, well, weather wise.
