Another cloudless, sunny morning out here in the west. Chilly start though - down to 4C.
Reading the rest of your posts almost makes me feel guilty for starting this thread as the weather almost immediately improved here.

It was great to think it was worthwhile pushing the hoe through the chickweed seedlings with a good chance of them dying.

Just what I would have been doing....but I was given some paperwork to fill in and the cottage heating was playing up and the Church hedge was in greater need of a trim than the chickweeds need for hoeing..............

...I decided to ignore filling the paperwork in this evening and have just come in from Potato hilling and Raspberry sucker chopping....by, it is warm...

Visited the allotment three times this afternoon,
1.. Took up new waterbutt and locked it IN my shed, in case it got stolen...I know, I laughed all the way home as well
2..went back up as new free manure had been delivered .....get it while you can..
it will be gone by tomorrow, over an hour backwards and forwards with buckets..so glad it was sunny
3... After that I went back again after collage run , to water it all
Enjoyed every moment
Looking forward to tomorrow
P.S. I have unlocked the waterbutt....

Gloriously hot and sunny here today. Weather station reads 24.8 outside
and I have lots of happy looking plants in the garden and greenhouses.
Now I have a dilema: be a good little wifey and clean the bedrooms OR absconed to the garden and sow, pot on and weed to my hearts content?
Decisions, decisions. What shall it be..........

Just back in from watering - 25 degrees and glorious but dry already even though precious things got a watering on Sunday. Also put out some streamers to ward off the pesky pigeons who are way too bold nipping off my onion tops when I was only a few feet away - and I can tell by the glint in their eyes they have spotted the salad bed!

Car reckoned 26C at 17:00 and 23C at 18:00. Ate my tea sat on the terrace out back in the sunshine
