The wedding will take place in London and the couple will then live in North Wales (BBC News)

Isn't that punishment enough?

Ohhhh, it's freezing cold here. Rain, sleet, hail and high winds. Good job i've got me vest on.

Fed up with the whole engagement crap too. Although we did have such a good laugh around the dinner table last night over it. Still laughing now. Do you reckon Kates mum has pegged it down to Primark to pick up her mother of the bride Primarni outfit? And who is it going to start the fight after the buffet? Wont mention the life policy thing that our Sian came up with but it was hysterically funny. Or where the pot noodle quote came from.

Ahhhh, where's Cromwell when you need him?

I was thinking the same as you, Geoff, about Mr and Mrs C - how foolhardy to push your luck like that. Well, they nearly came a complete cropper and are probably lucky to be alive, even though their experience must have been horrid.

And about THE wedding: a letter in the Telegraph today complains in advance how the BBC will spend hours and hours until it happens chewing over every little detail about the bride and bridegroom. Well, they might well publish that letter, because they have today devoted at least 15 pages to it themselves!!! I wish the young couple well, they'll need it - I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. Luckily, being without TV, we'll be spared much of the brouhaha. And on the day itself, we might go to IKEA or somewhere like that which is usually too packed for comfort!

Anybody going to start a new Bits and Bobs, by the way?
