Sorry Jenny, I think we are on exactly the same wavelength. What you grow yourself is infinitely superior to anything you can buy. In our case space is at a premium. What we would like to grow and what we have room to grow are two very different things. But we do get some bumper crops of runner beans, french beans, courgettes, broad beans, peas, sweetcorn and particularly tomatoes.

Piglet, what can I trade for a couple?

Do you like ornamental geraniums?

I have a wonderful thing called Geranium Tomentosem, its has miserable little white flowers, but the effect is in the large velvety leaves that form a low mound uo to two foot across (pot) and give off a divine smell when caressed. I have one next to me as I type and could do you a couple of cuttings post harvest time?
